Jose Huizar, LA Council Member, just arrest on corruption
Jose Huizar is the 2nd Los Angeles Council member to get in trouble this year. His attorney is Vicki Podberesky.

Jose Huizar made his initial court appearance this afternoon before United States Magistrate Judge Paul L. Abrams, who ordered Huizar released on a $100,000 bond. Huizar should be released from custody later this afternoon.
Huizar was NOT asked to enter a plea to the charge in the complaint, which is normal course at this point in a prosecution.
Two future dates were scheduled:
A preliminary hearing was set for July 14
An arraignment was scheduled for July 20 at 11:30 a.m.
Huizar is being represented by attorney Nicky Podberesky.
