Food in SO CALI

Unread post by George » August 9th, 2005, 3:04 pm

Anyone from Long Beach ever eat at CHA CHA CHA's???? WHat do you think of it???

And another question relating Roscoe's C and W, which is the best location in around L.A based on everyones individual experiences???
How you all feel about Gower and Sunset?

Isn't that shit in Silverlake on Virgil?

By the way who exactly runs that neighborhood? My homegirl lived over off Virgil there and me and my boys were gettin mad dogged a little crazy and outnumbered 3 to 8 one night.

And with Roscoe's, I'm personally not feeling the Gower & Sunset location... I'm much preferential to the Venice Locale.

Long Beach right? I don't know but that city is confused to me. So many people from so many different sets/crews/cliques are in the same place sometimes.

Same here. I've been to the Virgil one, it's like white food with Cuban accents. Not impressed. You want something closer to the real thing like Versailles on Venice Blvd. Now that's arroz con pollo. Roscoe's is OK. I like eating at the one in South Central, cuz it's got the feeling. But better than that is Stevie's on the strip. Yes I love to eat.

Speaking of food there's a delicious mexican restaurant in downtown L.B. Can't remember the name or address. Anyone?

I was with some families and friends in a Vietnamese restaurant down in Orange County. Damn i got a question about that too,

why do the Vietnamese hire so many Mexicans to work in their restaurants but, very few Blacks??? I see many many Black customers sometimes in these Viet restaurants and , it seems the owners and workers get along with them just fine.

I even seen a Vietnamese father with his Black wife and a mix daughter laughing and kicking it with the owners of this one Pho/curry place in Orange County!

BUt they hire more Mexicans then Blacks, why?
