Jomo Adoula Zambia, also known as the 1017 Bricksquad rapper Rosemo, was killed by a gunshot wound to the torso last Thursday while behind the wheel. While rushing to get himself to emergency care, he ran a red light and collided with a police cruiser. The policeman survived after being transited to a hospital, Rosemo did not.
A number of viewers speculated that RoseMo had been targeted following a public Twitter war with G-Unit member Game, who RoseMo claimed he had punched out while the man was shopping with his son at Fox Hills Mall. RoseMo also had a documented physical scuffle with rival Inglewood rapper Boskoe, filmed by CTA affiliate 211 and acknowledged by Boskoe. Police maintain that despite the online feuding, Game was not a suspect of interest in their investigation.
RoseMo is the second Inglewood rapper to fall to a violent death this year, as police are also investigating the drive-up shooting of M-Bone of the Cali Swag District while hanging out in front of a liquor store in May. Jomo Adoula Zambia was 26.
