i watch alot of american football and they praise blacks for being great at sports, and theres a whole stadium full of whites to back on cheer them on.

And the none crime movies that show black communities grouping together against racism experienced from white communities, that show when you fight the good fight you always gain equal rights.

Cuba Gooding Jr has done some movies, dont know the names - along with other people that shows a strong person can always stand up against hatred.

Some of the greatest self esteem movies where made by black people, which make great role models for the kids.

Since when does colour make someone greedy? Ive always thought Bush was a yahoo, and knew he was greedy he wanted that oil and has already sent alot of white people to hold it for him.

The media portrays black people as normal, courageous, beautiful and humorous people too, but i dont spend 14hrs a day at a TV or computer so i dont know for sure.

Ive seen alot of the coverage on the american channel CNN about the war in iraq. And from seeing all the troops in army gear the majority of the people fighting are white, ive seen black people also, but not as many as the white people

I dont know what other ethicities think, but if u choose to live here you and i owe a service to our respective countries when it is required. Whether its to go to war or volunteer for a relief effort.

My whole point is,
If you look at all the past presidents of the United States of America, what were and are their skin colors?
White! When was the last time you saw a Black/Yellow/Brown/Red president in America?
And yet they try to tell us how important it is for US to vote. They want us to "make a difference" by voting but, for what? When we claim multicultural society and all that crap, we have nothing to show for it when it comes to the people in power who create the laws of the land, the political structures, the education systems, etc etc. And what is the point of even voting when there are suggestions that a lot of the "votes" are rigged?
Do you really think George W Bush has his heart and interest in the residents of Compton, Long Beach, South Central, Brooklyn, etc etc? Please!

And if you tell me Con Rice is a person of color in office, just remember the difference between a PAWN and a KING. You figure who is the KING and who is the PAWN; George W Bush and his fellow White politicians, or Con Rice, Colin Powell and people like them. Who really really calls the shots?


And as for the "positive" (if you want to call them that) stereotypes put on Blacks, Asians, and others, they really are not positive at all.
When the world see's Blacks only good at is stuff like Basketball, rapping, dancing, it limits the worlds perception on the variety of potential different Black people can achieve. Just like how people only assume Asians are only good at math, computers, and anything non physical or art/music related. So when you have a person like Jin
coming out rapping/freestyling everyone is shocked and in awe of his progress and sometimes label him a gimmick cuz he's CHINESE. Or when Yao Ming first showed his face in the NBA, a lot of people i came across were amazed that a Chinese person could play ball! Even some fellow NBA players were upset and threw racial slurs at Yao (hey Shaq, racist clown!).
I personally know there is sooooo much variety within the Black COMMUNITIES, Asian COMMUNITIES, Hispanic COMMUNITIES, ETC ETC.
I have seen Black guys/girls good at math, science, computers, I have witnessed Asian guys/girls good at dancing, rapping, singing (nooooooo William Hung is not the face of ALL Asians who sing), boxing/fighting (Pacquiao), I have seen Hispanics who are amazing in martial arts, computers, etc.
So it pisses me off when people make silly comments like "Man David Nguyen is good at computers cuz he was born an Asian" or "Did you see how Jerome beat up that White dude? See I told you Blacks are so strong, tough and violent!". It really pisses me off when I hear comments like that. Cuz I have also met many Asians who stink at computers or Black dudes who can't fight.
But where do people get all these perceived "positive" stereotypes? The media systems of North America!

you walking through a park during broad day light and seeing a woman being raped and robbed, you decide it would be easier to ignore her pleas for help than to assist her against her attacker. You do not even bother to call 911, you just walk on by with your eyes and ears closed.

I can only speak for myself, as to speak for or about a whole would be assuming. I personally don't think I ignore the problem so much as I can't even begin to understand what it would be like to grow up as a person of colour and have to deal with the problems that arise because of that. To go back to comparing it to a rape victim, it would be like saying "Hey look I got raped how can you not begin to feel what I feel??" I can sympathise but I can't relate.

When the discussion is brought up about how whites feel about how people of other colour are treated it's hard to understand. I don't know why some people choose to treat other people the way they do based solely on race. Likewise religion, sexual orientation or otherwise. It seems so childish to me. I've read a handful of books and understand that certain races have treated other races horribly based on race alone (not just whites/blacks). Now ask me WHY they did it, I can't fathom. I can't understand why someone would do that, and I can't understand how someone would feel having that done to them. Does that make me a bad person? I don't think so. I don't think I'm oblivious to it, I just can't wrap my mind around how someone in that position would feel.

Now to stay on topic, I have no problem acknowledging the idea of everyone coming from Africa at some point. I honestly think its a mute point really. I also think that as far as we know today that's where people can be traced back from. I don't believe we have all the facts as of yet, and I believe there may be more to come, but that's just based on personal beliefs not some sort of race agenda.

I read some historcal facts that indicated Ancient China had very very similar stone and clay pottery/sculptures that resembled clay works from ancient Africa. Everything from the texture, shape, size all the way down to the ancient symbols and all.
It is also noted the first true recorded map of Africa came from China.

Whether or not CHina is the center of the universe or not, I would have to say both China and Africa were probably two of the oldest civilizations around.
Now one can debate the boundaries of "Africa" cuz, we need to remember that "Africa" is actually derived from an Egyptian dialect. Africa in this dialect means "good or beautiful". I have a feeling people of these lands didn't even use the term Africa till later on.
If you want to research, you will find out that there are Black tribes way beyond the borders of the modern Africa that Europe termed. Places like modern day Middle East, pacific islands like the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, South East Asian nations like Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam, India, have many isolated groups of Negritoes living in the hills and forest.
The European scientist often deny that these people are "Black" but, all one has to do is look at their dark complexions, very curly "Black" hair, facial features and height and one can make the connections between these groups and the Pygmie tribes of Africa.
I figure Europeans do not want the world to give thought to the fact that Ancient "Africa" and Ancient Asia/Middle East may have all been connected at one point in time. Maybe the European scientist want to keep the world divided

However, the “Out of Asia” theory has already been compromised due to the fact that scientists have already examined the Y-chromosomes of more than 12,000 people from Asia and found no traces of a non-African influence.
