I heard that the Stones kicked 18th out of the jungles a while ago.

My question: Is the rivalry still going on and where is it taking place ?

did a lot of reading on the net..

you know, since training day a lot of young fellows in Germany are
fascinated by that neighborhood (jungles) in particular, so
I also wanted to know whats going on right now...

As far as i can tell from here, the Bps beat the mexican guys as they were trying to sell dope
in their hood.

Do you have further information ?

lol are you asking this because of the racial shit going on in that area. It seems to me like an 18 would stick out like a sore thumb in the jungles, and they 18k anyway so... I heard they got they hood on lock anyway. does anybody know

aint the jungles aint what the movie made it seem like..Dont get me wrong..you'll still get dumped on..but thats like any other hood in L.A

Seems to be a lot easier to control the hood with those dead end streets.
But not all of baldwin village has dead ends ?

People around here think that the jungles is the hardest hood in LA !
The only hood which cannot be invaded by rival gangs.

But from your point of view it seems to be quite similar to other hoods.
Thats what I thought anyway but the movie makes it somehow look more glamorous.

No man, its not because the whole world wants to be black, its because the whole world is americanized through the media, music and movies. Big difference. You will also find a lot of Europeans liking white american culture.
Thats a pretty normal process when being influenced by another nation/culture.
As a matter of fact i know that many people in India are immitating or sticking to british culture still. That doesnt mean they want to be english. Same example, different place of the world.

shootouts, the jungles called in an airstrike and blew up most of the 18st area, the 18st tried to fight back and launched stinger missiles into the hood and went to mexico to eat some tacos and buy an apache, they came back but right when they did the junglestones decided it was time to stop playin and launched a nuclear strike into most of L.A.

The BPS did kick 18s out the Jungles back in the 90's.

Stopped them from kicking it at Rancho Park on the side of Dorsey High too.

Not to say 18s haven't responded back, but they got pushed out.
