18st norteño does not existe but their is a varrio called varrio grande eighteen. theirs is only one 18 and that 18st or xv3st which has nothing to do with vge.

If you go by the name of rocket in Tijuana by the way of 18, then don't post on this thread. I don't need to see the same pretty much useless info posted more than once.

OK, someone claiming WS18 from San Mateo confirmed a theory I had and that is that they did actually split from 18 who decided to claim sur. See 18 started up north before the split and when it came time to decide to bang north or south, this bunch decided to bang norte.

Re: Any1 heard of 18ST Nortenos?
i heard a rumor too. but it wasn't that. it was because there was an actual 18th street in san francisco. then it died out and all the nortes took the street names instead of numbers. the paisas took up surenos 16 and 19 and MS took up 20. MS is out of the mission and the XVIII from L.A. they never made it that far. they're in san rafael. across the bridge.

I thought all of that would be true at 1 point, but 18 in SF didn't claim that block. They were too far from the 18th St in SF.wickedthoughtts wrote:i heard a rumor too. but it wasn't that. it was because there was an actual 18th street in san francisco. then it died out and all the nortes took the street names instead of numbers. the paisas took up surenos 16 and 19 and MS took up 20. Re: Any1 heard of 18ST Nortenos?
what i meant was 18th street in SF was norte and it claimed the 18th street name cause that was an actual street in SF, until it thinned out. it never had anything to do with the other 18th street in L.A. "that" 18th street never made across the bridge. some of them are now living in petaluma and santa rosa, not banging though. they tried richmond but got the boot from the richmond surenos. who have also now mysteriously disappeared. seems like the active upstate surenos are in solano county, sonoma county and santa clara county. they're not around san franciso, alameda and contra costa county anymore. ask around

That 18 never made it across the bridge? Can we just stay on topic please? I didn't say anything about sureños, only 18 that banged north. Do you understand that I understand what you said, and have you read this whole thread?wickedthoughtts wrote:what i meant was 18th street in SF was norte and it claimed the 18th street name cause that was an actual street in SF, until it thinned out. it never had anything to do with the other 18th street in L.A. DONT FORGET ABOUT MS-14. BACK BEFORE MS BECAME SURENOS SOME VATOS MOVED TO SAN FRAN AND STARTED A CLICK FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD. THEN WHEN MS WAS FORCED BY LA EME TO PAY TAXES THE SAN FRAN MS WANTED TO BANG NORTE WHICH LED TO THE SHORT-LIVED MS-14 WHICH DIED OUT.

MS 14 was in Mountain View back in 94 till they switched up and got smashed out. They didn't sport red they sported Burgundy.
