White street gangs in San Diego?

there *use* to be a few up in Hollywood and Venice, but that was in the 1980's... maybe a lil part of the 90s

but now... i highly doubt it

In OC there are some skins but not like how you might of heard or seen on tv. I honestly can't remember the last time I've seen one. As far as white gangs in OC there were some back in the 80's and 90's. Nowa days to my knowledge you won't come across any of that. Most white's that gang bang are either in a Mexican or Asian gang.

I can't speak on who's out there on the street cause I honestly don't know. In OC county jail Peni, OC skins and woods have a presence. Sure they also live in OC but it's not like they're out there hitting up fools or anything. All that name brand stuff is mostly for when your locked up. For the most part they do their own thing and keep to themselves.

Just finished half of nine in OCJ and there's plenty of white actives. Maybe a little low-profileat the moment.

There was a lot of pressure from law enforcement back in the day due to a couple cop killings, then law enforcement started tossing around 'Hate Crime' enhancements like rice at a wedding which got a lot of Brothers locked up.

OC used to be thick with good Woods and Skins, I lived in OC from 84-02, things also got messed up with the amount of Meth being cooked then the Straight Edge Skins not getting along with those that used dope. There was also a lot of animosity between Skins because many of the Straight Edge Skins were getting high and drinking behind closed doors which lead to a lot of turmoil when the word got out. Then there was the deal with pussies getting jumped in to Skinhead Gangs just to say we have xxx members but punking out as soon as anything happened. I personally believe heavy drug use was the heaviest burden on the 80/90's era Skinhead, many used but when it got out of control and your own Brothers became your marks just so you could get your next fix, that was the a hard blow to many. There was supposed to be a 'Brotherhood' a 'Family', just like the old saying goes 'Don't Shlt Where You Eat'. Good Brothers got tired of being shlt on by their own.


When I say Straight Edge I DO NOT mean S.H.A.R.P Skins, I mean Racialists who did not use illegal substances, drink alcohol or smoke cigarettes. Sometimes called Straight Laced also.

PB Vermin (surfers)

I would say most white gangbangers in SD are down with SD varrios like Thunder Hills, VC etc.

Dago Mob isn't white power but they have woods in it. Dago Mob is 81 supporters and family member of 81s. It's predominantly white but some Dago Mob aren't white like some 81s aren't white.

Tunaville Soldiers AKA Tuna Boys - TBS are probably not around anymore. Your right they were mostly Portuguese.

Pacific Beach Vermin AKA PB RATS were surfers and punkers in PB and Mission Beach.

The down ass white boys were always from Dago Mob, Lakeside Gangsters, Tuna Boys, and PB Vermin. Many down ass white boys from Clairemont and Linda Vista back in the day too but I forgot what they claimed (i think Clairemont Woods). Lakeside Gangsters is well known in the system and gets respect in the cells and streets.

Thats a name i haven't heard in a while. I am sure they aren't around anymore. They were not well respected. Came from middle class and upper class neighborhoods by La Mesa and the College Area. They used to get punked a lot. There was a saying in the early 90s:

San Diego was never that known for its white gangs. Heard of a few white gangs in the Southbay making noise when i was growing up. Can't remember who they were. But it has/was always been Lakeside Gangsters, Dago Mob, PB Vermin, Clairemont Woods as the ones holding it down for the white boys. There has always been white supremacy groups in north and east county but they were not really like gangs. More like groups that were only into race politics. I did now quite a few white boys in Mexican gangs in San Diego back in the day. Also a few in Black gangs (Linda Vista Crips was known for that.)

I love Ocean Beach, it's real cool now. Actually one of my brothers is from SD and he was pushing dope in one of the Crips motels. There was a lot of fighting between him and the black dudes, that's what he told me. Another friend of mine is from Imperial Beach and he was a gang member back then. I'll be back there in a couple of month, might know more then.
