Carrying pride in ones skin colour is on par with being proud you were born with 10 fingers and 10 toes. Good job! You are proud in something you have no control over what so ever! Be proud of something YOU'VE done, something that YOU played a part in. If I'm proud of who I am it's because of how I was raised and what I've accomplished not because my skin colour. I know my family history, I know what my ancestors may have accomplished but that has no bearing on who I am, if they succeeded or failed that's them not me. Likewise, I can take pride in civilizations I have no part in because I admire what people have accomplished through out history based on over coming odds not because they happen to be white, or brown or black or yellow or a purpleish blue colour.

All that being said I think the term "white pride" carries with it certain stigmas with it. If you're black you can say "Black pride!" if you're a native you can say "Native pride!" and so on, but the term "white pride" has a stigma of being racist. How can one be proud of skin colour? If i am proud of something than its my ethnicity, or maybe my nationality, in regards to what my family has done and contributed for my country. Apart from that i take no pride in random genetical characteristics.
