He trained for 5 years in a club, it was run by Mirco Opelovski which trained my dad under military type training except it was Shotokan Karate...
M. Opelovski yeah that's him. My dad also sparred with Iliya Jorga which is like 10th dan right now and founded his own style in Karate. They were good friends, both of them, my dad made a portrait painting of him when he came to my dad's house...
These are some of the training techniques involved:
Routine hitting to the body using both arms and legs. Similar to this:
Mica, which was a self defense learning system type of thing where 7 or 8 guys gather around you and start punching and kicking you all over the body and you would have to block it.
They also did the running on the stomach thing routinely as well.
Kumite/free sparring is what he concentrated on mostly, and it was done without any gear, so you would punch a person's face with your bare hand but it would have to be controlled and not full strength..
Besides that, he was in the army and I think special forces as well, idk what group though at the time.. And I forgot what else..
They also ran in circles nonstop for a long time...
In the army, they didn't hit them like in the video or maybe they did who knows, but it was harsh strict training.. My dad got kicked out for beating the fuck and nearly killing the drill sargent but he did it for a good reason. This is where my mom and my dad met, of course my dad was 20 years old and my mom was 10 at the time but that's not the point.. My grandfather(mother's father) was an officer in the army and was in charge for all of the Stip municipality in terms of recruitment, and besides that my grandfather and my dad were good friends.. My grandfather died of Hepititis B when my mom was only 17 years old. My grandmother, mother's mother, her mother died of Tubercolosis when my grandma was 12 or 13 years old. My father's father, my grandfather, died in 2004 of a heart attack. You know the pain my dad and I felt because we weren't able to see him for the last time or even go to his funeral becuse of our financial situation.. Ahem..
Yeah. Besides that my dad travelled all around Europe, he watched over some rich guy's house in Switzerland in the Alps and has been in Sicily for what IDK but yeah..
He's been in all types of fights --- one on one, outnumbered, outnumbered fighting alongside others, knife fights, gun fights, bar fights, brawls, riots, you name it. Every single weapon you can think of he's used it, well not literally but as in umm the surrounding enviroment..
He was grade 8, my uncle(father's brother) was grade 5 and they were walking somewhere. All of a sudden my father notices my uncle is not beside him, and my uncle screams for his help. Some assholes my father's age at the time starting beating my uncle for no reason. My dad gets so friggin pissed he takes out this shoehorn and fucks them all up cuts them on the face and shit and they think it's a knife so they run.. Then he uses a black board to fuck up 4 fighters from Skopije because he fucked up some of their friends before that..
On and this is a good idea too, an ambush: They throw a blanket on a guy and beat him with baseball bats and shit while he's trying to get it off.
He has been arrested 7 or 8 times according to him for fighting amongst other things and he has been let go each time through his connections but there has been plenty of more times where he has done shit like this and the police didn't come or they didn't catch him...
