I said it was on some racist shit, and it was. I can bring up sources on that shit, but I dont feel like doing that shit. Rafael Trujillo was a racist as muthafucka who hated himself his parents were bi-racial. I'm not talkin bad on Dominicans but those fools hated the black side of them like blacks or people with black in them do everywhere, when corrupted with white racial superiority.

That wasn't a war that was a genocide. Trujillo was influenced by Hitler's ideas and went to 'cleansing' the DR of darker skinned people, almost all haitians. The way he weeded out Haitians in the DR was asking people to say Parsley, since Dominicans say it different from Haitians, and then killing them. One of my dominican homeboys even admits that shit was 100 percent racist.

From Wikipedia

The Parsley Massacre
In pursuing blanquismo, he ordered Dominican troops to massacre 20,000 dark-skinned Haitian sugar cane workers in 1937, an action that he claimed was a sovereign response to the Haitian government's support of exiled Dominicans who were working to overthrow him. The US demanded that Trujillo pay reparations, which Trujillo bargained down to $500,000. The Haitian workers were identified as immigrants, and then murdered by the truckload, if they could not pronounce the letter r in "perejil" the Spanish word for parsley. This action firmly established the Haitian-Dominican border at Río Massacre, or Massacre River (a river that was in fact named after the slaughter of French Pirates in the 17th century). He then settled the border region with Haiti, relocating Dominican families to new agricultural developments there.

US Poet Laureate Rita Dove wrote of the massacre in her poem, Parsley:

There is a parrot imitating Spring
in the palae, its feathers parsley green.
Out of the swamp the cane appears ...

El General has found his word: perejil.
Who says it, lives. He laughs, teeth appearing
out of the swamp. The cane appears

in our dreams, lashed by wind and streaming.
And we lie down. For every drop of blood
there is a parrot imitating spring.
Out of the swamp the cane appears.

that shit led to Trujillos racist shit, read his personal shit he cites DR's fight for independence as a reason to kill and supress the Hatians. Not like all Dominicans were like that, just them self-hating, or white racist muthafuckas. THey might all be latino regardless of race, but there still racism in that shit.

Haitians had invaded DR twice long ago and even controlled it for 20years, at the time Haiti was seen as the more "richer side" of the island with its resources and man power, DR was willing to let the spanish rule them for another few years which they did when they offered but spain lost interest in there and saw them as a liability since their country had gone through a small recession, one of the reasons why DR flourished more is that one idea is Dominicans were more offering to anyone on the outside, they wanted people with skills to come there, they wanted trade, whilst Haiti was a place run by ex slaves who were hostile to outsiders.

I was suprised to see that both the Puerto Rican & Cuban population was bigger than the Samoan population in LA.
If it's 15,000 PRs in LA, then I'm shocked that it ain't a couple PR gangs there. PRs in Chicago be bangin hard.

IF puertoricans started a gang in cali ....the mexicans and the blacks would bang them out of existance. but most likely they would just merge with the ese's and fall in rank ...low rank. cause the ese's would never let the netas & latin kings become a threat or even make noise out in cali unless they join the 13

Ive met black fominicans who dont put themselves down as black, there are plenty of them that will be quick to say they arent god knows why,

thats because we ARE NOT BLACK...were hispanic, we have many many dark skinned people but we r not black....we r hispanic, we speak spanish, eat rice n beans n listen 2 merengue, salsa n bachata...we r hispanic ladies and gentlemen, some of us r black as night some r as white as snow, some r tall, some r small....we have pride in being hispanic...thats like a light skinned black man being labeled as hispanic...u think he's gonna agree???? hell no he's not...n god doesent kno why, U dont kno why....so i just layed it down for u my friends....we have latino/hispanic pride, we cant jus automatically label ourselves as black, we have history and genretations of speaking spanish and being hispanic....we do have alot of african ties tho....

WHAT ABOUT BLACK DOMINICANS do they go through racisim from other domincans the mixed one & white ones ??

man they dont go thru no racism from each other...my mother is light skinned, my father is dark skinned, i kno a shitload of couples that have a dark skinned partner n a light skinned one...how r we gonna degrade our brothers, our people, just because of they skin color???we would never be racist against each other cause EVERY dominican(unless they retarded) kno that we have alot of dark skinned dominicans and a majority of mestizo dominicans....i seen dominican gangs with both dark n light skinned brothers....so i dont really think thats an issue between us......

Your hispanic but your black, or white, or asian. Whats so hard to figure out about that? White people came to the island, Africans were brought to the island a lot of fucking went on, some didn't mix really and retained mostly one race, but you all took on Spanish culture (language and shit) so just cause you took on Spanish culture all of a sudden all the indio and black blood goes out the window? Doesn't work like that. I guess if blacks came and conquered an island and forced the nativesto take on black culture i guess those natives would be black then even if they were white as snow. I guess hte blacks in Lousiana that still have ties to the French that were there and speak that fucked up French and other French culture are not black, but French. What you saying dont make sense. So what if you eat rice and beans and speak Spanish, it dont make you a race, it just shows what culture you're apart of, not your racial makeup.

homie Im peicein together what you sayin. now you said the country aint black but I didn't say it was black. Before I said there is a mixture of people there, and a lot of mixed people there. You said yall are latino, which is true, but then so what is the different races? Latino is not a race, its a culture. Thats what im sayin. So do latinos not recognize race, or what, but I dont think thats true cause I talked to afro-latinos who said they got treated like shit by mestizos and white latinos, and they show some of that shit in latin movies and so on.
