Police: Gangs Responsible For Shootings

CHARLOTTE -- Police believe gangs are responsible for a shooting Wednesday night that sent an elderly woman to the hospital.
The woman was sitting in a reclining chair in her home on Booker Avenue when gunfire erupted.
This is the third call police have responded to about shots fired at this home in just three days.
Officers were called to the home twice on Monday night.
Two teenagers were taken to the hospital after a shooting around six o'clock Monday night.
Just a few hours later, police responded to another shooting call at the location.
Police believe the shots are related to a local gang known as the West Trade Bloods.
