Kat Williams on Mexicans

These concepts are socially constructed and have been given much weight. What are your thoughts?

Kat Williams on Mexicans

I havent seen a thread here about it and if there is one I apologize.

I trip out when I hear Latinos making youtube videos, and all I hear from them is

a) Southern States were once Mexico

and

b) Kat Williams is racist.

Here is my take:

1) If Kat Williams is racist against Mexicans why did he "give props" to the Mexican Americans in the audience?

2) If Kat Williams was racist why did the many Mexicans in his audience applaud him while he was bagging on ONE GUY?

3) If Kat Williams was racist why did most of his comedy act focus on nationality and not race?

Personally I think Kat Williams went too far but again I think a lot of Hispanics when they here Mexico or anything negatively associated. I do love the "go back to africa" which is a typical response from a moron, considering the millions of blacks here originate from the United States but are descendants of Africans, two fucking different things. If I caught someone, Anyone dissibg the U.S. I would say the same thing as Katt Williams.

Personally if hispanics think Katt Williams was racist then the mang hispanics in the audience who applauded him are self-hating hispanics too!

I don't know about Kat being a racist but the guy's definitely socially irresponsible. he should've blasted him only on a personal level and not brought the man's ethnicity into it in such condescending fashion and with use of bad stereo typical jokes, I feel it was outright disrespect to Mexicans in general. plus the tension is already thick in Arizona with immigration issues.

I can't wrap my mind around as to why any sober self respecting Mexican/American in the audience would cheer and even applause something so disrespectful. that's something I can't really answer.

But it is what it is and the man makes no apologies about it and even comes off arrogant in this interview.
