Hey, I think some of the best looking people are of mixed races. I myself is a proud product of the Mexican and Filipino race witch is very common here in Cali. Both have long time social ties in the golden state. This trend also helps break down racial barriers.

Here's a few sites I just found on them. From what I've read as to where they're from, it's pretty much like the jewish situation (forgetting the Israel state being forced right now), they were like nomad people moving in different countries throughout Europe and East Europe and most of the time they were the outcasts of society for their 'lowly manners', persecuted and shit like that. Even the term 'Gypsy' comes from the belief they were descendants of (or that they came from) Egypt and had occult practices and sorcery from there. Just like expressed in the book Notre-Dame de Paris with Esmeralda, that's why everybody hates her with her 'magic', openly dancing and all that which at the end pushes the people to put her to death. But I think the different Gypsy people, depending which region of the world they live in incorporated things from the place from where they resided. Just like how you've got Gypsies (France, Spain) who got like those castagnettes dancing like flamenco-style and shit and you've got eastern gypsies playing more music from that region (fast violin, accordeon, etc.) of the world with customs from there. They've got a really interesting history.
