w9thout having the flick paying at the moment i can only paraphrase, but as they sit down to dinner, he looks at his best friend, a black man, as he explains that as much as he loves his friend and his family, he is glad to preserve and keep pure the race, because it is just better that way. The message being that it inst personal, that he would not condone their children getting together, but still has a healthy regard for the wellbeing of his best friend/man of another race.
