this was the 1st year I didn't watch much basketball. But when I was real into it 2 years ago he was definitely the best. He was miles ahead of himself from the 2000-2004 years Trifecta years. I was never a Kobe fan but he was a complete player. High intelligence on the court and his shot was fuckin on it.

Even when he wasn't as explosive he would just drop back and kill fools with the jumpshot. But from what I hear he was really off his game this season

Yeah definitely. I think every noteworthy guard could be rated above shaq. Not very hard to score when you're as big as him and have referee aid. Duncan is a great player but not on Kobe's level.

I hated Kobe cuz I'm a kings fan but he'll be remembered as one of the greatest players no doubt.

I find that it is hard to say which player is greater than the other when they play different positions. Kobe is definately a better player now, than ShaQ and Tim Duncan, but he's younger and smaller and less injury prone. I think that each player had their time as the best. I think that ShaQ is retired, so he's out now, but he will definately go down as one of the greatest centers in the game. Tim Duncan is arguably the greatest power foward to play, and Kobe will go down as one of the greatest two guards. However, he will never be greater the his Airness- JORDAN ( to most) or MAGIC (to me).
