Nuestra Familia aka the NF

There are many that believe California's Prison Rehabilitation System and other systems around the world have more sinister purpose outside of incarceration. Discuss prison topics here in California, throughout the United States and Internationally.

Funny thing is that I did hear something about North Siders trying to do some kind of merge in the mid-1990's, but wasn't sure on how that went & so didn't even know about mentioning it. I think some of the members were going to Peter Burnett at the time.

^ Yeah. that "Negro" was a Brotha. there was another Negro I met a real dark Chicano from NSSJ. alway, DTN threw a sign at my friend's light blue Regal and the ABH/XIVER dude riding shotgun got out of the car and straighten that out "No Surenos here." DTN would walk up and down 1st to 7th and Santa Clara St <----around the 1st St block, I think Negro was a only one that could stay out after curfew from DTN "funny style" <ROTFLMAO> BGT at that time. I think SJG were mostly youngsters coming up just after VNH established their last generation. the one homie I know I think got into SJG after VNH was fading. for some reason, he never officially got into VNH although he would kickback and do dirt with them and was from the heart of that varrio.

Yeah, I guess the youngsters nowadays could be calling it BNS. The merge I think was VNS~VNH but that would put those youngsters back then at Peter Burnett at this time at about 25 and I think it involved their older Brothers because it would put them at about early to mid 30's. I pretty sure it was VNS that merged into VNH, but if it was another varrio, I cant figure out where VNS was for all those years among those NS varrios and is this nowadays VNS a coincidence?

pistolslanga, I think that Hayward varrio is a coincidence, but again, I'll give it the benefit the doubt, I've never seen VNS put 14 after the varrio initials.

Also, I think VNH has been in hiatus in need of a new generation, something along the lines of VHS. there are still quite a few Nortenos around there but not like it back then. maybe because of the Sureno numbers nowadays in San Jose, the older Homies are kick starting these inactive Norteno varrios :?:

My previous post got cutoff in the first paragraph somehow :?

Anyway, wasnt Poco Way around too in the early 90's with those other varrios the VST vato mentioned? The got to give Surenos from that time their dues, why? because there were a lot of real Norteno Homies back then not like a lot of these wannabe's trying to claim Norte. and how Palmas is holding ground today, so were other Norte varrios in San Jose. if you get a change ask the VST Homies about the Downtown's WS Sur varrios in the early to mid 90's, I wondering if I'm a little off in the my info.

Nortenos are still sporting mongolians but not like the mid 90's.

What was it... "the Blue light Special" at KMART? I use to go there a lot as a youngster, Bro.

my homie from VST said that they still hold ground in the South Side on 7 trees , he says VLT (Poco Way) SSP and Clantone were the only real sureno hoods holding it down in the early 90's .. he told me about an incident that happened in Poco Way St in 96 where a Norteno got killed there by a sureno from PW.. after that he said Poco Way received hell from Nortenos like crazy .. about WS Clantone he said they were crazy ass riders in the mid 90's that they had VHS on their knees , then alot of WSC13 homies got locked up and VHS WS MOB started moppin them , they killed a couple of WSC homies , Stranger , Grifo , Crazy , Munchy , Sapo and Looney .... i'll post some ol skool pics of VST homies in the 80's ..

Piedmont is quite some distance form East Hills. Did you mean JL high? I passed by JL high yesterday after school. I think I might have saw some Sur siders crossing the st.

Somehow that 1st paragraph got cutoff and it messed up. :?

I wrote something like... I think SJG stood for "San Jo Gangsters" like you said. I mixed-up the Grande from the G in BGT and I think it stood for "Barrio Grande Tierra" I went to school with one of the ex-members, yeah I think the varrio was in Southside of Downtown or in SW San Jose.

I dont recall VNS ever putting 14 after the initials, in fact... not even the few strike ups they did recently nor any other NS varrios at any time but it's definitely possible, because it casual for me, I really didnt pay real close attention to the wall-banging.

Lets see... St. James neighborhood you had VSJ go a little bit North and NE you had VNH and I guess SJG but a little after, go little SE <---->NE there was 12st somewhere. I talking about the 90's here. It seem that this VNS today is in VSJ~VNH old turf somewhere, but I'm not exactly sure where.

I think the SJG I mentioned fools claiming to get out of DTN & then getting into, was San Jo Gangsters. San Jo Grande was around also tho. About some people reffering to VNS as BNS, was back in the days.

Oh, Okay... so there was 2 SJG's. it's just that I didnt ask the homie the official name of that SJG '"San Jo Grande" that homie and I have friends in common that tell me the deal, but I've not seen him for quite a few years. so that SJG  San Jose Gangsters was kind of weak?

Oh yeah, I remember Downtown and parts of the Southside had a lot of Hip-Hop type graffiti back then, wall-banging was secondary.

I didnt know people were calling it BNS back then. :o
