'A mother who allowed her 3 yr old daughter to deal drugs was facing prison last night.'

'Undercover police officers were astonished to see Demi Horrigan, 3, to appear behind a metal grille at an aquaintances home. The child calmy took their orders, walked back to her mothers and returned minutes later with drugs'.

'When the officers were met at the house by the little girl they told her what they wanted and she took their money. She toddled off and gave the money to her mum and came back with the drugs'

'Officers were shocked the child was directly involved in the selling process.'

The mother pleaded guilty to supplying heroin and cannabis.

I think it is harsh to use the term drug dealer for an innocent child who probably did not understand what she was doing.

The town where it occurred shit like that happens all the time but not quite as young as 3yrs old. I dont know Harlem but could you really say there were lots of kids runnin drugs for people at 3 years old?

5 and 6 definatley but 3? I know the town in question (Middlesbrough) also has many children as young as 9 that are heroin addicts. And a recent drugs gang that got infiltrated employed 5 and 6 yr olds as look outs giving them wages and shifts to work.

The film Fresh was supposed to be extreme, (Brooklyn i think it was though not Harlem) and the dealer was 12.

When I taught in the ghetto, we had elementary kids (just babies!) coming to school with drugs, running for their parents or older siblings. If the kids get caught, they don't get the same sentences as the adults, so those (insert appropriate plural noun here) use their kids to traffic their wares back and forth.

This isn’t anything new. It’s just that people are shocked that there was a three year old involved. Personally, after seeing some of the young parents out there, I’m not surprised at all. Sickened, but not surprised.

Here in Houston, a mother supposedly gave her 5 year old pot. Five years old!

What makes you think that? This story didnt come out of the tabloids. It came out of the most respected broadsheet newspaper in England, The Times, London.

What makes it sound like BS, i bet you only read the title 3 yr old drug dealer and didnt read the story to take into account the context it was used.

I heard a 3 years old in the subway with his older brother and mother maybe yelling stuff he saw in a porn.If not taken of a film I would say just crazy mother.Things you do not wanna hear in public at all,but common for a greasy stripe.
