Movie is about an indicted Ugandan war criminal Joseph Kony from the Lord's Resistance Army and from the regions of northern Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Sudan.

No, but he slowed down his attacks. He has not been as much of a threat to Uganda as has been portrayed in the movie anyways. Kony is business as usual in most parts of africa, nothing special.
