I aint from cali and never met any Pirus,but from my understanding these are real Piru/Bloods whatever.Just seem like they dont quite know what they are.

Its Piru before Blood. Pirus prefer to be called Pirus, rather bloods. Piru is a family within the Blood family.

No, gang members in general are confused. Gang identity don't mean shit like it used to. You got sets that dress exactly like, flag the same, etc warring over hoe shit.

Pirus are Pirus. Bloods are Bloods. Most Pirus call eachother blood because it flows easier than saying "what up piru".

Game calls himself a Blood because to market oneself, you need terminology that people understand. If he was like "I grew up a Piru", niggaz wouldn't care of know because the word don't ring no bells. Same reason why Chicago rappers aint made it big off claiming because no one knows shit about folk or people in the everday world. Bloods and Crips are famous... no matter what city you in. I heard Pirus think they are original blood hood calling them selves pirus. I don't know to much about black gangs I live in a predominantly Mexican community so don't take my word for it.
