Each level was just a single screen. It had had levels you could jump up to or down to and the ground as well. The background was usually some sort of asian back drop. Usually a temple or a monastery type graphic. And each level had clone type kung-fu enemies that came in and you killed until finally 1 boss would show up. Each boss had something special about them, either throw fireballs or ninja stars whatever. All the characters were really similar and all I remember is they were all really round like, short round faces with round bodies type thing. It's been bugging me for a couple years now because me or my brother can not remember the name of it, and can't find it online because I don't even know a part of the name. Let's see if anyone can come up with it. I'd know it to see it, but not to hear the name.
I think karate Champ is the first marital arts arcade game, but it came out in 84' not the early 80's. the same for Kung-fu Master (top image) I think you may be talking about "Yie Ar Kung Fu" (bottom image) that arcade game came out in 85' - a lot of neighborhood youngsters would play that game at the local market...

I used to love The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past on SNES. Also, I like Super Mario 3 best out of the original 3. Mega Man was the business too, as was Streets of Rage. And I can't forget fighting games such Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat.

lol, Magnavox Odyssey 2 was a one of the first cartridge based video games system, Atari VCS was the first, and Magnavox Odyssey 2 was the second, Magnavox Odyssey 1 was the first US video game system ever, it was games built in which they had actually the first pong type game, then Atari came out with Pong. Atari brought out there Atari VCS system later years when it went through a cosmetic makeover they change the name from Atari VCS system to Atari 2600. Odyssey was the first game system to compete with Atari and had some good games, but they did not have the 3rd party support the way Atari did, at first Magnavox Odyssey 2 was very competitive with Atari and some games even looked better than Atari like Odyssey 2 Football game, KC Munchkin vs Pacman, they was the first to put voice sound with there voice module that you put on the cart slot and and came with a game that was for the voice module, and was planning to come out with future games for that in 1983, Atari 3rd party companies making games for Atari was the big difference. Odyssey 2 had a good run from 1978 to 1983. I am sure you can find some game websites that sell old school game systems will have the Magnavox Odyssey 2 and sometimes you can find them for bid with there games on ebay, which I saw on ebay a couple of years ago, and you can also run a google search if you want to see what the game system look like, it had soft touch keyboards too, they was a kind of ahead of there time on that.

I am thinking of ordering Magnavox Odyssey 2 on ebay next month, I want to get games that I had.
Like K.C. Munchkin, Pick Axe Pete, UFO, Alien Invaders. I think some of there early games had better graphics than some Atari VCS/2600 game.
