depends on what hood, and what year. Some bloods stay flamed up, our at least used to. Others barely sport their colors. You can't just make a blanket statement like that.

They could have had a better guy than Jamie Foxx portray Tookie, from what i understand Tookie was a pretty big built dude. Otherwise I liked the movie.

Saw it. I personally didn't like how they zoomed on his face when he was saying "I had to do the most ruthless thing possible", etc. when hes talking to the lady in prison... I think if they would have just kept him in that distant camera angle people would have felt sorry for him more so they did all this zooming shit on his face to make him seem more menacing.

I THINK THE MOVIE JUMPED AROUND TO MUCH.. IT SHOULD HAVE HAD MORE FACTUAL EVENTS AND THINGS LIKE THAT. AND MAYBE MORE REAL FOOTAGE. BUT I STILL LIKED IT.

The movie was good, but I think it focused too much on his transformation in prison. I would've like to have seen more stuff about the early years of the Crips.

True that and the first fight which happened in the 70s againts the Crips and Pirus which ended up a Crip victory due to more presentness of the Crips.

I have finally seen it and thought it was very good. Jamie played the part very well and depending how much the budget was they couldnt tell every detail of his life. I think people need to take heed to his message and not focus so much on them not showing fighting and killing.

Could been better. Should been made in an "epic" way with Ving Rhames as Tookie and with Big Spike behind the camera or, let's be crazy, Oliver Stone.
