Melvin "Skull" Farmer used to run with Tookie during the 1970s.

Since 'Blue Rage,Black Redemption' was released,I can't count how many times I've read that book from cover to cover and I know Tookie didn't commit those murders.

The boot print that tracked through blood at the 7-11 was too small to be Tookie's.

He didn't own those brand of boots they claim were present at the 7-11 crime scene

The prosecution interviewed a patron who was leaving the parking lot at the time, but he couldn't remember what the assailants looked like. Tookie was a big dude, you wouldn't forget seeing somebody that huge

Ballastics didn't match his gun or bullets to either crime scene

James Garrett was in possession of Tookie's gun during those robberies

Retraction of witness statements on Tookie's behalf.

plus a gang of other shit.

I emailed Barabara Becnel a few years ago about what could be done,to exonerate Tookie posthumously, but she never got back to me.

I got this feeling that american cops/the justice system deal with heavy criminals the way they did with Al Capone.
Everybody knows what he was into but they couldnt prove it, so they charged him with tax evasion. Same with OJ Simpson and others. Criminals who cant be caught in a regular way get trials pinned on them and they try their best to get results that keep their targets off the streets.
I mean, lets keep it real, Tookie has had to be a real Terror in the streets and probably committed murder or even several ones to become the legend among gangs that he became.
You dont get to that status without real blood on your hands, wether he committed those murders or not (which i dont believe).
I believe they tried to get him off the streets, because he committed serious crimes that they couldnt prove.

@sentenza I think prosecuting and executing him was more about getting rid of the crips leader, than it was about the crimes they claim he did.

Yea, thats what i meant. If he was a leader or not, he definitely was a bad role model for many kids during his times and he guaranteed committed enough serious crimes for the police to target him like that with a broadside.
