Des Moines- People/Folks, B's/C's, 13's/14's, a few Asian sets
Cedar Rapids- People/Folks, MS-13
Iowa City- A few Southsiders
Quad Cities- People/Folks
Sioux City- People/Folks, Southsiders
Waterloo- People/Folks, local unaffiliated street crews.

When I say People/Folks, it's mostly GD/VL/LK. Lot of false flagging in IA, a fair amount of real heads too though.

I stay in Rock Island, Quad Cities; and as far as I have seen there ain't never been no Crips or Bloods, even trying to bang in or around this area. EVERYONE knows that this is People and Folk Nation turf. You might have caught up with some younger cats (early 20's) tryin to pull off that Bloods shit, cause they trying to false flag their idol, Lil Wayne. But, real talk, there are no 'real' Bloods or Crips, in the Quad Cities. And, when it comes to 'real' People and Folk Nation gangsters, there are a shit ton of false flaggers there, as well. Although, with I-80 and I-88 being a direct link from Chicago to the Quad Cities, you got a large amount of real heads that have permanently moved down here to set up shop, since the market is getting bigger down here for drugs, and they know they can double, if not triple, the price of whatever they are selling down here compared to the City. Plus, there is less competition, no standing on corners with four or five other nigga's trying to all sell the same product, down here everything is done via cell phones. And, trust me, word has gotten out. Within the last three years, I have noticed that there used to be a fair Chicago prescence down here, and now seems like almost every dude I am talking to say he from the 'motherland'.

In the Quad Cities, (Illinois side) Rock Island, Moline, East Moline, and (Iowa side) Davenport, Bettendorf; we have the Gangster Disciples, Conservative Vice Lords, Traveling Vice Lords, Black P Stones, and Four Corner Hustlers, those are the main 'black' gangs. As far as, Hispanic gangs go we have the Lowriders; who are arguably the largest Mexican gang, in the area, and possibly the largest gang period, which is a homegrown, to the Quad Cities, street gang. Their color is baby blue, but they do represent the Folk Nation, although its up in the air if they are ACTUALLY a part of it. Their numbers on the street and in the local county jails fluctuate from around 250 to 350 strong. The other main Hispanic gang around here is the Almighty Bishop Nation, originally from Chicago, although they keep their headquarters and a few sets in the 'homeland' for the most part they have moved their entire operation to the Quad Cities, again their number rival that of the Lowriders, around 200 to 300 strong. They are A LOT lowkey about their shit, though, where the Lowriders get buck wild acting stupid on the daily. The Latin Kings, were the third major force, in the area. However, I think it was 6 or 7 years ago, their main leader a guy named "J.J., Loco" and a partner of his were guilty of marijuana distribution, something along the lines of they were caught supplying like 80 pounds of marijuana they got from their supplier in Texas, who was "J.J."s father. Since then, they have took a major hit and have went far underground, and are hardly ever heard from. Satan Disciples, several years ago I had some girl said she kicked it heavy with a few Satan's, but I didn't know how truthful she was, and then I would say a month ago I went into the men's stall in a gas station in downtown Rock Island, and sure enough there was a Satan Disciple tag next to a Lowrider tag, so I dont know. Imperial Gangsters, again, another gang similar to the Satan Disciples, I have heard people say that they are around but I have never seen one for myself, or even seen a tag of the gang, although people that claim to have seen them said they are strictly a Davenport gang, and due to me not crossing the river often might be the reason I have not encountered them. [Two Sixers, I am very familiar with. My old coke dealer, who is now in his early to mid 30's, was a 'supposed' member of the original six guys. It was three brothers who were plugged from Chicago, who came down here and met up with two twin Caucasian brothers, and another white dude (my friend) and they started the 'Gangster Two Six'. Since then, they have had their ups and downs, a lot of people say they are just a bunch of white kids trying to be hard, but the Rock Island County police department did have a detective years ago whose main focus was this gang alone, so that shows you that I mean they are a little noteworthy. Their leadership and their membership is split between white guys, and Mexicans, with the current leadership showing that although there are a few illegal Mexican nationals who are amongst the 'old heads', of the gang. There is a tire shop, on a main street, in one of these city's that is actually owned and operated by an 'old head' Two Sixer, who has got to be in his mid 30's, at least, up to mid 40's. I couldn't tell. But I did just rotate with him a little bit about the current happenings with the gang. I guess this year there are two or three upper level members about to be released from Illinois Department of Corrections, so I bet they are going to start making some noise this Fall/Winter. Familia Stones, unlike the Familia Stones in Chicago, these Familia Stones are almost entirely Mexican, not Puerto Ricans. They have just recently popped up in the region, I would say only in the last two years. You see there are a lot of gang taggings of the Familia Stones, throughout Rock Island, Moline, and Davenport. I am not sure if they are just a group of young Mexican wannabes, who went online found a gang no one has been claiming in the QCA, and then went around the town tagging their symbol, but have yet to put in work. However, my old cocaine dealer; who is a black dude, in his mid 20's, was said that he got his powder from a half Mexican half white guy, who with his two brothers all were banging Familia Stones. This black guy also said, which might be an exaggeration, that he was used as an outside 'enforcer' for the Familia Stones, collecting oustanding money and drug debts from those within the gang, and outside the gang. I might call this BS. But, I do know this guy does carry a pistol wherever he goes, and is known in the streets as a stick-up boy, so it wouldn't surprise me if he was hired by these Familia Stone cocaine dealers to get exact their revenge, since they didn't want to catch a case doing it themselves. 309 Boyz, a local homegrown gang of whites, blacks, and mexicans alike. I know they recruit from both Rock Island and Moline High School, and there turf is in those two cities alone. I used to kick it with them for a while. As my cocaine dealer, a young white dude in his early 20's was a leader of the gang, and would move close to a kilo of powder a week, REAL TALK. Another leader of the gang, was my pill guy, as he would sell literally hundreds (200-400) OxyContin pills a week, not including all the benzos, hydrocodones, and percocets on top of that. Last I heard, he was popped by M.E.G. agents after Oxy pills that he had sold, led to the accidental drug overdose of two different people, a day a part of each other. They found over a hundred pills on him; a sawn-off shotgun, two pistols, and one semi-automatic pistol, in the house too. Dude is looking at a good 20+ years to Life, in federal prison, over all that mess. Their main color is blue. They are a Folk Nation gang, too.Latin Aztecs, not sure if these guy are some offshoot or future gang of a larger Folk/People Nation, if they are a Chicago gang themselves (dont remember hearing about them), or just a local independent Mexican gang. They are however, a violent gang who are caught up in a three-way war with the Lowriders, and the Bishops. They are a Folk Nation gang, too. Outlaw Gangsters, a local homegrown gang of whites, mexicans, and maybe a few blacks. They are mostly settled out in the Silvis, East Moline area, although some float through Rock Island, Moline, and Davenport. I do know that they were in a bitter war with the Latin Kings, when the Kings were a bigger threat than they are now, something like a decade ago. In fact, the leader of the Latin Kings, who I spoke of earlier; actually ran up onto the porch of a house, which was known to be the resting spot of the leader of the O.G.'s, and tried emptying a clip into the leader of the Outlaw Gangsters' and some of his homies who were there chilling with him. I think he only was able to get one or two shots off, before the gun jammed, and he ran into a waiting vehicle. I am unclear as to whether or not the leader, of the Ooutlaw Gangsters', ended up taking one of the two shots in the face, or if both shots just narrowly missed his head. There was another incident, in which the Latin Kings were driving by a park out in East Moline, noticed a few Outlaw Gangsters hanging about; and one of the Kings' pulled a pistol, and started to fire into the park at the gang members. He ended up fatally wounded a young girl toddler. Those last two encounters I spoke of, are the two incidents which made the Latin Kings the prime targets of the Quad Cities, and then eventually led to their downfall in the Quad Cities. I was at a party once when a couple white Outlaw Gangsters showed up, with their hats tilted and their gold grills in (when EVERYONE had them), they made it a big deal that some other white dude in the crowd, a buddy of mine, had his hat on and tilted to the right (Folk Nation). These gang members also had their hats tilted to the right, and claimed Folk Nation, and claimed the color blue; but seemed disgruntled at us, for having our hats tilted to the right, as if we shouldn't be allowed to do that sort of thing. There was also a conversation about, how when members of the Outlaw Gangsters, who were claiming Folk Nation, arrived in the county jail system and were met up with real Gangster Disciples (Folk Nation), they were shown no love AT ALL, and rumors persist that they actually got they asses handed to them. This might have caused a rift on the streets amongst them, as well.

As far as gangs goes in the Quad Cities, that pretty much nails it down for ya'. I will just have ya' know, that A LOT of the Mexican gangs around here WILL allow Caucasian members, into their gang. In fact, A LOT of the Mexican gangs down here are comprised of a majority of whites, anywhere from 25% to 50% are Caucasian members, and sometimes the 'founding' members, 'shot callers', or 'old heads' of these Hispanic gangs are older Caucasian dudes, in their 30's. Hit me up on Private Message, or thru here, if you want to know anything else about gang life or anything to do with street gangs in the Quad Cities area, or in the region a little beyond that. Thanks! Peace out.
