Greg Floyd......Gregory Floyd, the triggerman in the carjacking murders of two college students that came to symbolize random urban violence, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole. Floyd and four other men were arrested a day after Amy Shute and Jason Burgeson, 20 were carjacked at gunpoint on June 9, 2000, from outside a downtown mall and shot as they huddled together on a patch of dirt......when asked by the prosecutor if he shot them to look like a man in front of his friends, Floyd said, "I guess you could say it was something like that." The men split the $18 they got from the couple, putting $9 of gas in each vehicle.
