i would ask thiss in the domestic section but i dont got the privalige or wutever to write in there so, wat are the Gay Lords like i found this http://www.chicagomobs.org/gaylords.htm but when they say there the biggest white gang wat do they mean by white? like im not talkin about back in the day but now, like is it just white americans or like euro-americans like polish and other slavs italians greeks turks? if sumbody can answer that 4 me that would be dope

gaylords are irish they get they name from 100rds of years ago when gay didnt mean no fagget shit but if yall watch "gangs a new york" they was a gang way back then

SCR's have a lot of Southern/Apalaichan people. If you notice their out of state sets are mostly in the South.

There were quite a few white gangs in Chicago back in the day. Changing demographics and time altered the racial makeup or simply ended most of them. Take that old Polish gang the Almighty Saints by the Back of the Yards; it's all Latino today. But the Gaylords still have a presence. A few white gangs in Chicago's members simply grew up, went straight, and their gangs became charitable auxilieries with their members joining the military, fire department, police department, etc...

I read that book "Lords of Lawndale" a while back. They seemed pretty serious about gang banging and they were loyal to their members. There ddidn't seem to be a lot of in house fighting with that gang.

I met a former GL named Joker a while back. He was from the Palmer St. section. He claimed there was discussion about changing the name but it was felt the name had to much history and to many people had died behind it to change it.

Brother Joker is a down Lord, an he is tellin ya str8.

Anyone can't get their head around the name, well, deal with it. The club was named in the 50's. Originally it was almost all Italian, but as it spread thru the city, members came from all diff hoods. The Almighty Gaylords were never a "White" club, they are a club who's members are mostly White. There are members who are Native-American, Hispanic, and mixed-race. It's all about love for your hood, love for your Nation.

Easy to diss it online, but many Brothers have died for our flag, and there are still many Brothers in Steel City holding up the banner.

If yer interested in history, check out the movie "Lords of Lawndale". It's on youtube in four parts. There is also a book of the same name, maybe it aint Shakespeare, but it's pretty str8.
