18th street in LA might be as deep,or almost deep as the Latin Kings in chicago,but they arent as deep as the GDs

Just a question, but are the Latin Kings still under the People banner? I read an interview from a Latin Kings member and he said that they decided to break off and caught hell from the VL and now they are 'independent.' This was a few years ago or so.
