I would have thought that El Paso, a border city with Mexico, has alot of street gangs activity.

I know of one gang there.... PBS (Puro Barrio Sandoval). Supposedly the biggest street gang in East El Paso that feeds into the Barrios Aztecas prison gang.

I was wrongfully held for 12 hours in the El Paso county jail over a murder a PBS member committed at a bar. I was quized over El Paso gang culture that I didn't understand.... I'm from Dallas by way of Venice, Ca.

I was rounded up and then picked out of a line up. Thank god for video tape!

All I got was a letter in the mail about a month later from the EP PD, saying they regret what happended but no misconduct occurred. Figures.

I was there for a brief minute, and notice young black gang members posted up, sportin' creased blue rags, at the Indian Casino "Speaking Rock."

Didn't notice any significant gang problem in West El Paso. Did notice at the club, during rap songs, the crowd yelled "East Coast" with hand signs.

When we crossed into Ciudad Juarez the gang graffitti was too much NOT to notice. Some of it looked pretty old but I'd say the majority was new. I didn't recognize any of it, and didn't see any "13" or "18" or anything that would give indications of LA-like gang culture there.

I went to speaking rock casino in "Chuco" but left after about an hour when I found out you don't win $, you win credits that you turn in for prizes... sorry but I'm 23 and at a Casino not 10 at Chuck E Cheese!!

LOS CHIHUAHUITAS and the T-BIRDS ARE EL PASO'S OLDEST GANGS AND THEN LATER FROM JEFFERSON HIGH SCHOOL CAME THE FATHERLESS BUT KNOW THE BARRIO AZTECA RUNS EVERYTHING IN EL PASO.THEY ARE ABOUT 2000 STRONG IN TEXAS CORRECTIONS.AND IN JUAREZ ITS THE CARTEL'S THAT RUN SHIT. MOSTLY THE VICENTE CARRILLO-FUENTES CARTEL. THE AZTECAS PROTECT HIS LOADS COMING ACROSS.

I don't really know much about El Paso but I have heard that get down on the streets with the gangbanging scene...But then most places do now adays...To my understanding there are acouple of L.A. gangs out there claiming turf...Aswell as alot of Southern Califas(like Sureños)influenced ones...Anyways I got this small list of gangs that are supposedly from EPT and it's surroundings: North Side,El Segundo Barrio/2nd Ward,Franklin Delano Roosevelts(FDR-Northeast),West Side Kings 13(Canutillo),Crazy Rascal Gang 13(CRG-San Eli),Barrio Campestre Locos 13(BCLS),WST Nineteenth(19/XIX)Avenue Sur13,and VGT13LRS...Don't know what the initials for this last one mean but of what I remember it was hit up with the BCLS gang mentioned already, they might be allies...Known of these groups like from about the 90's or so...Can't say for sures which ones exsist or not...There is a page on the myspace site that is dedicated,or about,El Paso gangs: http://www.myspace.com/915rifa Well that's all I know and got on this matter.............Thee Original1. Puro Valle 956 & McAllito 4Lifers...
