NYC BLOOD/CRIP GRAFFITI

Two questions...

1. Is NYC crip/Blood graffiti normally written in the same style as the Folk/People thing or do kertain sets have their own style or do it west koast style?

2. Since gangs are so spread out, do yall just hit up any wall you can find or is there kertain areas in NYCk that are known for having lots of gang related tags? When I was in NYCk I saw none, so thats why I ask.

certain hoods das on it tag up . a lot dont tho. go 2 southside jamica queens tho. u will c it all. das my hood. u will c crip, piru, blood, latin king, gd, vicelord, p stone blood, even 4ch(never seen 1 tho) tagged up in jamaica queens in dey own hoods. its real in the hood, gangbanged out. and we dont fucc with the folks around hea. n the es bloods is turnin ws over hea. elms n mobs over hea. gkb n ntg n a lil 183 over hea 2. my hood is straight blue but the other side of town straight red. es 55nhc n es 111pbc is what it is in my hood. a lil g stones n treys left tho. the locs ran thru the vl's dey still recovering rite now or turnin blood. the gd's sneak up in trey hood sumtimes n tag that folk shit up only 4 it 2 get crossed out quicc.not 2 much netas still around and the ms- 13(dey got a big hood in a lil space cuz they got a bunch of apartments) by jamaica ave. be bullyin dem lk's over by dem. but for the most part das the hood. gang banged out.

Is it similiar to west coast graffiti... with the ES/WS letter over letter and the set name with a list of sets yall aint down with?

^^^ I was gonna take a flick of that same shit!

There used to be a hit-up on Argyle you can still see the bottom of it, got went over by another writer...

Also that chinese kari-out across Church from the Q exit got about 5 gangs hit up in it...

Check for that big six point star on Argyle about halfway down the block it'll be written on the sidewalk by the skelly squares.

Also check for the start-up Crip set tags on Church and 21st. right on that corner there.

yo lb wasent 21st a TFC GSTONE/823 set? this was a few years back when dude they og wasnt locced i got some niccaz from shotgun n gstone on newkirk n rugby i kicc it with from time 2 time niccaz said its still around but not like how it used to but neva heard anything bout 21stkgc i thought it was only a 83 like u posted

when I see scrappy it's usually that six point star and the hoover tags, and usually he's next to another tag like right here it looks like he's putting his shit next to the cgc, and tag above it.

Yes, partna, being from LA I was caught on how it seemed offbrand too. But that's how shit runs out here with half the youngans that choose to fuck with gangs, nothing you or me could do about it. I know this is about NY but I see the same things in Georgia. Bloods usually tag with the 5 point star. And its not just black gangs. In a city called East Point I have seen 18 ST. gang graffiti with upside down pitchforks. They share their neighborhood with Latin Kings so maybe that explains why.

Yes UGC is/was supposed to be the major set in that area but around Church there are multiple sets and it's always changing. I lived there for two years and I saw many set hit ups come and go. Sometimes multiple names of sets on the same block. But then again I even saw GD's up a few blocks away once in a while and LK / ADR tags in my building so it's hard to say.
