I heard of the Black spades , they were the biggest Black gang in NYC back in the 70s , the Riffs from the movies " warriors " were based off of the black spades gang. There were a lot of gangs back then the Tomohawks was well known too.

They had gangs in NYC for years way back , White , Black , asian , Latino , gangs.

Kool herc and herculoids , created hiphop from Black communities and music , and one of the Black spades member from the Bronx Afrika bambatta was a DJ , he got down with the hiphop movement and later on created to universal Zulu nation a hiphop organization that introduced hiphop and open the doors to All races of people , and stopped gang wars in NYC in the 70s and brought them into the culture its worldwide now Zulu chapters in europe and asia.

^Glad you mentioned this. Most ppl these days dont kno the orgins of Hip-Hop. Its actually an all race thing and not a black thing. Unity with all kinds bringing ppl together. Most ppl dont even kno the four elements- MC's, DJ's, Bboy's, graff artists. Major corporations helped to corrupt the image of Hip-Hop and tarnish its reputation. And all these sissy puppets you hear on the radio and see on TV continue that trend. Jus a bunch of modern day slaves. Too many ignorant suckaz out there and they need to wake up. Turn off the radio and smash your TV! The underground is where you'll hear and see real Hip-Hop. I love it, support real music!!
