Man, 22, shot dead outside Bed-Stuy building while polishing

A 22-year-old man was shot dead while polishing the rims of his SUV outside his building in Brooklyn Monday afternoon, police said.

The 1:40 p.m. murder happened at 209 Sumpter St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

Police said the killer, a man in a black hoodie, blue baseball hat and blue jeans, ran east on Sumpter after the shooting and is still being sought.

The victim, his body slumped against his maroon SUV — adorned with the word “Brooklyn” in white lettering — died at the scene.

Could be crips if the blue cap bears any meaning. Wave-gang is also pretty well affiliated in Brooklyn. Bedstuy is generally a bad neighborhood, with all types of gangs. Not all neighborhoods are controlled by one gang necessarily.

Wave Gang does make the news frequently and I hear a lot of young kids are claiming it now in Brooklyn

This shooting doesn't sound gang related it sounds personal / drug related

Across the street from me dude got bodied he was a C.O. and I can pretty much guarantee he knew his shooter personally

Robberies go bad around here but if this was a robbery why he left the car?

Bedstuy more or less is Blood dominated you see old ass tags here and there from some little crip gang that once was but if you been locked up it's a good chance you rock with blood dudes
