It was a combination of things... the rise of bloods and crips, King Tone getting locked up kausing sets to separate, snitching. I heard from a couple older kings and former kings about stuff that had been going on once Tone got locked up. I dont really want to say they are week but it seems that way. Maybe they just switched up their style... like no more flagging or beads, but I do see some old cats wearing them. I know they do have neighborhoods where they run shit, but it is definitely a drop from how it used to be in the early early 90's. Back then though, there was never really a gang that could fuck with the Kings. They were big and rolled deep often. Once time, I swear to you not, I seen like 50 of them both kings and queens in the train station. This was way back like 3 years ago though. Me being blood, if I seen a crip and a king, and i had to choose one to bang on. 99% of the time imma bang on the crip. Kuz the kings aint really up there. They dont pump fear into no one. And they not really bangers. They only get at u if u in they hood. They dont seem to look for and start trouble anymore.
