All in all, I like what has happened in NYC. It's still dangerous in spots, but it's much safer than it use to be. I'm down south now, but visit NYC often. Other big cities are just a mayor away from having their criminal activities shut down too. All it takes is money to increase the number of cops, detectives, and special units and a mayor like Guiliani who hates gangsters and criminals period. He maybe a racist, but he went after his own people first. If you get someone like him, with the funds, watch how fast the streets get cleaned up. I grew up in NY in the 70s, 80s, 90s, and I visit often even today. NY has always been about drug crews, dudes gettin together to get money; fuck that bangin shit.
