what dude is sayin bout new york is true in a strange way, like yea new york is safest big city w.e...but brownsville , bushwick, Bed StY(the dangerous side) are very rough places ...i think rougher than places alot of other cities which are considered dangerous places.....harlem is really safe..i stayed there for like 6 days...and it was the fisrt time i went 5 days witout hearin a gun shot.
yea they don have no more dead cops in oakland coz the cops dont come across the brollin 100's unless somebody dead.
Kids in Buffalo don't even run inside the house anymore when they hear gunshots on the block.
They are so immune to it they just keep playing hop scotch and drawing on the sidewalk with chalk.....
No different than NYC...
In my city if you hear gun shots no one cares either. That's because most people think someone shot a moose or a wolf or something to that affect.
There aint no moose or wolves in Buffalo...![]()

im pretty sure if they counted it by neighborhoods NY and LA hoods will occupy the top 30
new orleans will have like 5 hoods in the top 10
not neighborhoods coz dats too small...maybe like...south side , westside, northside, eastside or somthin
Thats not a bad idea.
Do Gary, Compton and Camden have North/South/East/West sides? Are they big enough?
Again, the more hairs you split, the smaller the sections get. Does it create a more accurate picture? Most likely. Unfortunately the more you cut it into pieces the more pieces you have to deal with which means more numbers for a person to sift through. What I'm saying is, all that information is great, and I'd be willing to bet it's all available to you online through local county or neighborhood police forces but YOU have to find it. To come out and publish a neighborhood, or county based crime stats would be endless and pointless for the average person.
Sure when a stat comes out saying "Los Angeles is one of the most dangerous cities to live in" what they probably mean is a small cross section of a certain part of the greater LA area is statistically more dangerous then other parts but some of the onus has to be on the reader to dig deeper to find the truth out.

I know 15 year olds from Niagara Falls that would have put a bullet in the head of the most hardened criminal from NYC. And I live in a small city with a moderate crime rate.

White kids that cross Hyde Park Boulevard over to the black side have been known to get their asses whooped, just for crossing the line.
White people are terrified of Highland Avenue. lol Ive heard stories of people getting chased out by entire crowds of people.
As a matter of fact the Italians here made their own version of "Little Italy" and they hate blacks. But guess what? Each year there are more and more black businesses that pop up in Little Italy.
So that shows you how "scared" people are. lmao
Blacks are NOT scared of Italians. Real Talk.

Take a drive down Bailey Ave. on the east side of Buffalo and you'll change your mind. Desolate, but dangerous streets.

New York, Miami and Chicago influenced LA's gangsters... Movies such as Scarface and the Godfather may help you understand.

Yeah, white people from NIAGARA FALLS, not from New York City. Have you ever seen the move "A Bronx Tale." African Americans were afraid of Italians in the 60s, 0s and 90s and still are today. I'm not racist, it's just a fact that if the Mafia is after you, you're going to be scared. They are one gang I would not want to get on the wrong side with because they can track you down easily.

I'll just copy/paste from my previous post:
I was merely pointing out how I felt during the time I spent in Buffalo. There's areas of L.A., Toronto, Buffalo, any major city I just wouldn't fu-- with period. Every city has that area you just don't go to unless you're from there. Everyone I met in Buffalo was great, and damn near every one of them had nothing nice to say about cats from NYC. It certainly wasn't what I expect from the city, though everyones knowledge of geography was pretty limited, especially being so close to Canada as they are. Regardless, great city and I look forward to visiting it again some day. Ghost, show up next time, you still gotta pay for that lap dance. There was like 4 strip joints right near the airport that we could have hit up so you best bring a lot of cash. Smile

UrbanStreets wrote:Actually, the Mob has much control in NYC nowadays, it's just kept under covers more. There's a court case going on now regarding a Mobster who killed a man in Prospect Park (?) in Brooklyn while walking his dog. Maybe it's over by now, haven't really been up-to-date on that case.
