One of the older gangs in Ontario, from the 1940s, but what may surprise many is that they have had about 6 or 7 member in La Eme over the years. The most influential member was Ruben "Tupi" Hernandez, major shot caller and in the end, a hit was ordered against him. He survived it, but lost his position in the Mexican Mafia.
After the godfather Joe Morgan died in 1993, Benjamin "Topo" Peters assumed the godfather role, but Tupi tried to take it, so during the early 1990s, Tupi was at least the number 3 man in La Eme, so I guess he had open the door to other Black Angels members.
