Are they still around? What kind of rep did they have?What were the numbers? I know CHICALI is out side of LA county but is that a town by the border or is it in mexico? They were the first surenos that i remember having a presence in the fresno area.This was the period around 1979 to 1982 and i would say they numbered around 25.

Right on bro thank's for the info.Yeah i remember them chicali dudes as being crazy.I had to box this dude name Chafredo(i guess thats how you spell it)We were both only about 13 at the time and this fool use to sniff paint like crazy.I heard he got caught for a hot one.Anyways yeah im from Fresno(im in seattle now)and Sanger has always been known as a sureno town.There is a hood in sanger called CHUNKLA(CKL)they was nortenos but i think they are CKL BULLDOGS NOW.They got a pretty crazy rep and some decent numbers.I can't remember if there is any more Norteno Or bulldog hoods in sanger but yeah the sur is pretty deep there. The biggest sur gang in sanger was VARRIO SANGER GRANDE RIFA(VSGR).I don't think the sur is deep as they use to be,but they can give any norteno or bulldog hood in sanger problems.
