Bullets fly in nightclub
5 wounded; man out on bail faces 20 gun charges

An Ardwick Bloods Crew member, out on bail and banned from having a gun, now faces 20 gun-related charges after a nasty shootout at a Scarborough nightclub, a police source says.
Bullets started flying around 3 a.m. yesterday during a weekly event at the Caribbean Flavour Bar and Restaurant, located on the upper level of a plaza on the northwest corner of Kennedy and Ellesmere Rds. When the dust settled, five people were shot, Toronto Police said.
DISPUTE ON DANCE FLOOR
A source told the Sun there was a dispute on the dance-floor. Somebody pulled out a gun and fired a number of shots, hitting one person.
The gunplay continued in the parking lot, leaving four others injured as two groups shot it out and forced hundreds of patrons who had fled the club to scurry for cover, the source said.
The shooters fled in two vehicles, still exchanging gunfire as they sped up Kennedy Rd. toward Hwy. 401.
Four victims were taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries. It's not clear if they were intended targets or innocent victims.
OPP CAUGHT UP
OPP officers caught up with one of the suspect vehicles on Hwy. 401 near Weston Rd. Officers boxed it in and forced it to a stop.
Two firearms, a 9 mm handgun and a .32-calibre handgun, were recovered and two men were arrested.
The second vehicle from the club shooting was still being sought yesterday.
Anyone with information should call police at 416-808-4100, or Crime Stoppers at 416-222-TIPS.
The names of the suspects were not immediately released but a police source identified the pair as Stacy Green, 25, who has no police record, and Tristan Lall, 21, an alleged member of a gang known as the ABCs.
The source said Lall was among 55 people arrested last September by Toronto Police in Project Flicker, a blitz aimed at shutting down the Ardwick Bloods Crew.
Some 40 pre-dawn raids were conducted in the northwest end of the city and more than 1,300 charges were laid.

Relative to other cities with a million plus people it is pretty safe according to statistics.George wrote:Man, what is wrong with your city? Didn't some "professionals" label Toronto one of the safest places in the world? I've been reading a lot of incidents relating to your city for the last year or so.

Wifee used to work in this club back in the day. She was working that night but left before things popped off. Not the first time this particular club got wet up.
