Re: Smaldone crime family
The family is now extinct. Clarence "Chauncey" Smaldone, the last remaining member, died back in 2006 at age 82. I've never seen an exact estimate of made members, though I've read there were 40-60 people in the organization at their peak. They weren't organized, nor did they operate, like the traditional mob family. For instance, some of the Smaldone's wives ran a gambling operation for the family. It could probably be said they were more like a gang; which isn't surprising with Denver being so far removed from the Mafia's traditional powerbases.juventus wrote:What do you know about the smaldone crime family in denver?

Small note - it's possible there is actually one last surviving member. Eugene Smaldone Jr. But he's in his 70's and doesn't live in Denver anymore.
