RIP Tookie and RIP to the people that were killed in 1979. Whether he did it or not, he made an effort to change while keeping his respect from all bangers nationwide and not rolling over on anyone else when he could have possibly saved his own life. He may have contributed to ruining many lifes when he was younger but he tried his hardest as an educated and informed man to repair his damages to others by influencing many lives both young and old through books and his words. RIP Tookie.

TEEEEACH!!!! This can't be denied^..You hit it right on the head. We all are so occupied with so much bs while our people are being destroyed daily..

Fuck Schwarzenegger. Its sad how people keep makin the same stupid mistakes over and over again just because of BS politics.
I hope he will be dependend on someone elses mercy once.

Tookie could have helped saving some more kids from joining gangs but Arnold spoiled the chance and i doubt that any gangbanger will listen to a sunday sermon from a right winger.

From what I am reading, Tookie chose to not give a final statement.

In addition to him not snitching, I respect him for always maintaining his innocence, and refusing to admit guilt for something that he says that he didn’t do, even though admitting guilt may have saved his life. Only men of honor are willing to die for their principles, and I think that everyone should respect him for that.

By not doing anything to stop the execution, Arnold Schwarzenegger proved that he’s the “girlie man” that he's talked about!

Well I watched it live from the warden's mouth on CNN that Tookie passed a final statement to that lady who helped him get the movie and the books done.

If he truly killed those people back in 70's (one of the victims, for example, got shotgun blast to her face), then I can see why Arnold S. didn't stop the execution. Actually, I admire tough punishments in USA, because in Eastern Europe the punishments are so weak, so everyone can fuck the state and fuck the other persons with no fear.

and, I wanted to ask couple of questions about gangs, but I didn't find any suitable forum for that... can you suggest, where I can post my gang-related questions?

Thanks,

Ahv

Does anyone know of any events in LA that are going to happen to remember him? So far I have seen no sign of anyone demonstrating their rememberence, just a few people saying RIP and fu-- Arnold.

I would like to know, maybe I can make it to one of the events

........ I guess this is the right place to ask your questions.

And, lets presume he did kill those people... The death sentence didnt scare him either and it does not scare thousands of kids joining gangs these days. It doesnt scare anyone if hes up to killing someone, have you ever heard of a murderer that did NOT think he could get away with it? No one is like:" oh i am going to kill this guy, then they gonna catch me and ill go to death row." Everybody thinks hell not get caught. Tahts why people do it and thats why the death sentence doesnt scare anyone.
And those who know that theyll get caught are crazy and would do it anyways, no matter which punishment they have to expect (Terrorists, Psychos, Serial Killers etc.)
