The Cannabis Debate

This is the forum for those who believe that there are other options to gangs and violence and hope to see young people make better choices about their future. Where does change begin?

In addition to the medical problems associated with long term use, which incidentally is one of many factors that drive up the cost of health insurance, it is an obnoxious weed that leaves it's addicts vulnerable when shi_t pops off if they get too high. Additionally most of the people I've known that use it over long periods never really accomplish much though they do think they have just ask them. Then there's the "weed mentality" which develops in them. Weed does have a few properties that are beneficial for specific health issues. But any benefit from smoking it can now be gotten over the counter resulting in standardized perscriptions versus the unstandardized perscripting that people do. Sure the Government is way too heavy handed in their approach but if they weren't there would be a lot more pot addicts. And I'm no supporter of big government. But I've seen it over and over and over again. What a waste. Lose the zig zags..

Vaporizing is one of the safest ways to use marijuana other than eating it.

You can brew a tea or bake some cookies, its all good, sit back relax and enjoy the movie, for tomorrow is another day and it will bring its own hardship.

I'll be alright by tomorrow, hopefully I won't need to escort another "DRUNK DRIVER".

Yeah like attila said weed is legal in this wonderfull country, and i believe it DOES have a positive effect on criminal drug dealing etc.
Here you dont have 2 hustle for a lil bit of bad quality weed like in other countries, here you can just walk into the nearest coffeshop, say pass me wat wiet mang, roll ya joint an smoke it...LEGALLY.
Now poeple dont wanna put it the effort of goin 2 some crackhead dealer 2 get their shit, they just get it form shops..and that way the drug crimes get lower...you see??

So to all of north america: LEGALIZE NOW (i heard canada is making plans already to legalize soft drugs in a few months/years...)

You're missing the greater truth. There is MUCH more at stake than your argument addresses. I just don't have the time to deal with it right now. I apologize but I'm just one person and very busy. Peace.
