Why is'nt the murder rate in america a national emergency???

swine flu killed like 550 through out the whole year....murders which occur like what +40 a day can beat that amount in less than 20 days. but yet this has not been declared a state of emergency.

what even makes it worse is murder is preventable.

here in houston, there has been two incidents in these past 2 weeks where 3 people have been found shot dead, 3 people in car shot dead in the south east and 3 people somewhere else like yesterday ,ontop of that a old lady was murdered in cold blood today morning, in the after noon a burlar was murdered, 5 days ago a college kid was murdered during a break in, 2 nights ago ( i think a man was killed sitting on a side walk ), and police killed another dude coz he pulled a pistol on them......and the rest i dono but i know it is past 20 people for 10 days if i am not mistaken....this is crazyy!!!! MAn i sleep with the thing right next to me these days.

I know it is wild every where else just as much as here, i heard 4 people died in 1 scene in N.C,

There are 80 gun murders each day.

This is minus the violent suicides and other types of homicides that occur each day.

And Johnny comes preaching about how people kill themselves in Russia.

80 gun murders a day is 29,200 gun murders a year.

Hey, that's civil war if you ask me.

Yet in 2009 it's a major war if it has at least 1,000 deaths a year.

I'm getting the feeling more and more people in the USA will want it to become a socialist state like China who has a soft policy on taking care of its own first, am I rite?
