Yeah...Memphis, OKC and Clippers were the expected group from the West but SA is never counted out. Parker and Ginobli being hurt this season didn't do them any favors as far as being favorites in the West. Ginobli is still not doing much but Parker, Duncan and the bench are playing well. Very well coached team with very good role players.

Miami has the better stars and players but SA has a better overall team right now. Miami and Indiana both are taking notice.

2013 Finals: San Antone vs. _________ (I don't count the Pacers out yet. If they get down 3-1 that might be it 4 them.)

2013 NBA Champions: San Antone (hopefully). Experience is the best teacher 4 the Spurs & they have plenty of it. Have they ever lost a finals w/ Duncan in the line up? I can't remember.

why did a recent poll show that 49 of the 50 US States were rooting for the Spurs to win. The Heat got a lot of haters probably because of LeBron.

That and they appear stacked...the team was put together to win and with LeBron and DWade alot of people don't like the attention they get. They get nationally televised games all the time...and the expectation is that they will win until they break them up.

Next year they are a 3-1 favorite...but they will have issues in the East that will make them have to make some changes.

I was going for the Spurs too....but after game 6 that shit was a lock for the Heat.

The Knick and Chicago if they are healthy are the only teams in the east that can challenge the Heat, and Oklahoma Thunder should be strong when Westbrook is back. If Westbrook did not get injured there is no way the Spurs would have beat them. So next year, Miami Heat v. OKC Thunder. right?

No you got that wrong....Indiana and Chicago with a healthy D-Rose will challenge the Heat in the East. NY doesn't have the pieces yet.

The West has a few teams that can challenge Miami but until we see what the Clippers will do with Doc there, I am not going to pick a team. OKC will be the favorites with Golden State, Denver, as others that could get there. Memphis and the Lakers have to get their coaches/rosters right before they can be considered favorites again. Not ruling them out though.

Lebron was down 3 game to 2 to the Spurs and came back to win final 2 games with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosch, a better supporting cast ofcourse.
