USA women win World Cup in soccer
The women from the USA seem to dominate in soccer, winning three world cups since the 1990s, so why dont the USA men get it together and win them a World Cup?

The competition on men's football (soccer) is on a whole another level than among women. Way more players, way, way more professional players, way more (solid) leagues, etc. The game is the same, but apart from that there a some huge differences when comparing the female and male football as a professional sport.
And while American female players play in basically top teams of the world, the male players seem to play in pretty random teams. If you constantly play among and against the very best, you'll become a great player. That is something that the male team of US is lacking.
