LA Lakers 2015/2016 Season

Unread post by Coup » October 9th, 2015, 11:33 am

They are being written off already based on how stacked the West is. Forget Kobe...can Byron Scott coach this young team? I can see them making a little noise when they learn to play together. Young athletic teams will give a few of the Wests power players trouble.

A healthy Julius Randle will help the cause quite a bit.

Worthy  I don't know if he can coach but he is definitely a part of the Laker family. Scott can coach. He has had is ups and downs, but overall he is a decent coach.

Kobe is always going to be Kobe though...take a billion shots. Lou Williams looked good. They have to get Hibbert, Bass and the rookie Russell going.

I bet Kobe never imagined that his final season would end up on the worst team in his career. He probably thought he would be playing for a title in his final year.

He ran/scared off all of the top players that could help him get there. Not saying Dwight was it, but look at all of the other free agents from the past few years that passed on the Lakers, most say because of Kobe. Paul George, Aldridge, Melo, etc.

I guess he is hard to work with, but at least he got 2 more titles with the assistance of Pau Gasol.
