NBA 2016 Champions
My guess will be a repeat of last year, Cavs v. Warriors.

Re: NBA 2016 Champions
Nah, Spurs and Cavs with the Spurs winning.
Re: NBA 2016 Champions
^Felt the same way until they lost to OKC Sunday. Steph coming back against Portland is nothing....Blazers don't play defense. OKC is limited in what they do so out west only the Spurs can get rid of GS.

Can San Antonio do it?
Westbrook puts Spurs on brink of elimination
For the second time in three games, Oklahoma City won in San Antonio to take a 3-2 series lead back home. Tuesday night's victory came via a monster Game 5 performance by Russell Westbrook.

Doen't look like it. I think an earlier post was right, it will be a repeat, GS vs. Clevealexalonso wrote:Can San Antonio do it?

Re: NBA 2016 Champions
Oklahoma is one game away from their first FINALS appearance. Golden State Warriors plays average defense. They are banking that they can outscore their opponents but if you really analyze it Golden State made it through the Western Conference last year when Oklahoma wasnt healthy. And they beat a Cleveland Cavs team last year that was not healthy, so with all things equal, Golden State can't beat Oklahoma or Cleveland.

Re: NBA 2016 Champions
The Warriors have been exposed by both the Thunder and Cavaliers. The way you beat them is simply step up your perimeter defense, prevent some of their 3 point shots, and make sure you outscore them. Easier said than done, but OKC and Cleveland can do it.

Re: NBA 2016 Champions
Yeah. Probably the best game 7 ever...and it happened in the finals.
Looking back at the box score, almost half of the Warriors shot attempts were 3-pointers. So you're right, stepping up the perimeter defense can wear them out.

Re: NBA 2016 Champions
Don't expect teams to play that type of defense against them during the regular season. They'll probably win 70 + games again, but too bad Keven Durant broke up the second best team in the West (OKC). I was really looking forward to seeing OKC battle the Warriors again. They was a great 7 game series.Rodney121 wrote:Yeah. Probably the best game 7 ever...and it happened in the finals.

Re: NBA 2016 Champions
And that's facts, I felt "sorry" for Oladipo, cuz he was all hyped to play beside KD35 and then KD35 left to GSW...OKC really needs a SF, they can't put Singler to play, he's horrible, lol for real...I guess if Westbrook stays in OKC (Ppl be talkin bout trading him and etc, cuz he'll be Free Agent next year, but Idk) they can try something next season (2016-2017). I really wanna see Westbrook gets a ring before KD35, cuz KD did a b*tch move.alexalonso wrote:Don't expect teams to play that type of defense against them during the regular season. Y'all think GSW gon' beat their own record this season?
