A New Party, we need a Name.

Unread post by alexalonso » January 8th, 2008, 5:24 pm

I am creating a new political party and these are the core values. If you agree join up and lets get a name.

1. Less Taxes and tax cuts
2. Less government spending, cut out wasteful spending and bueruecratic departments
3. Repeal the Patriot Act and create an act that still preserves our privacy and keeps terrorist in check.
4. Pro Choice, but no government spending on abortions and clinics that perform them.
5. Keep Affirmative Action going
6. Allow prayer in school or get rid of the pledge of allegience (that will be my first proposition)
7. Maintain strong military and expand the military budget every year.
8. Universal Health care system will be researched for all US citizens and illegal citizens with 10 years in the US
9. Identify all illegal citizens by allowing the States to provide driver licenses for them, then tax all their income and let them pay into social security.
10. Withdrawal all troops from Iraq and Afghanistan but keep a military base in Bagdhad and in Kabul with 20k troops on each one. Let the Iraqis take over Iraq by 2010.
11. And implement a playoff system for college football.

Who is with this?

If i was over there i definitely would be with it. Alone for the reason that i think, that America needs a strong 3rd party to change the political landscape and force the other parties to make some serious moves.
My respect Alonso if you are doing that. Much better than just complaining and not doing shit about things.

I am for this Alonso! We must try our best to stop the corruption in our country before it is too late. The manipulation and lies tearing our country apart needs to be exposed. I hope you succeed!

America is NOT a two party country... the media just makes it that way... take it from a registered Libertarian.... ( dont confuse that with liberalism, cuz it is NOT)

i wouldnt blame the media for the popularity of the Republicans and Democrats. Those parties split from the Democratic-Republican party from 1801, way before media influence, when things were so done in the open. Most third parties and others, have difficulty in getting support.

I tell you what Justice League has a point here. Democrats and Republicans have a firm grasp on the levers of power and tight control of an extensive media network. Furthermore, the "respectable" right and the "liberal" left have brokered somewhat working relations with each other while excluding the more authentic Right.

I'm geussing this is how you were gonna balance out #1

agreed

agreed
alexalonso wrote:5. Keep Affirmative Action going
as long as it works for all minorities.
agreed
alexalonso wrote:6. Allow prayer in school or get rid of the pledge of allegience (that will be my first proposition)
I think we should take relgion out of public schools completely. so yes remove the pledge of allegiance
alexalonso wrote:7. Maintain strong military and expand the military budget every year.
i agree with maintaining a strong military but increasing the budget every year?
wouldn't it be better to increase the budget every year but review it say every fifth year to consider cutting back on projects that aren't working as planned?
alexalonso wrote:8. Universal Health care system will be researched for all US citizens and illegal citizens with 10 years in the US
Universal Health care for US citizens. yes
Illegal citizens with 10 years. no
I don't think we can really know if somebody was in the country illegally for 10 years or not.
but we should try to make the citizenship process a easier.
alexalonso wrote:9. Identify all illegal citizens by allowing the States to provide driver licenses for them, then tax all their income and let them pay into social security.
there is no way the government can tax all of there income.
most illegals work under the table jobs (CASH)
so there is no way of really knowing how much they are making.
I know because growing up my parents worked under the table jobs and were on welfare and other government programs.
alexalonso wrote:10. Withdrawal all troops from Iraq and Afghanistan but keep a military base in Bagdhad and in Kabul with 20k troops on each one. Let the Iraqis take over Iraq by 2010.
there is no way the Iraqi government/military is gonna be strong enough to stand on its own by 2010.
the Iraq issue itself is a lose/lose for us
If we stay we lose more lives in a war we may or may not win.
If we leave before the Iraqi government is strong enough we lose because it will probably be overthrown and replaced by a anti-american government that will be heavily influenced by other anti-american states, namely Iran.
alexalonso wrote:11. And implement a playoff system for college football.
Agreed but if we do we have to add like 3 more games to everyones schedule

Sure as long as this party doesn't lose sight of what it was created to do like the (R)s & (D)s.

I would never reduce spending on the military

We can tell if they have kids in our school system. So maybe I would give illegal citizens access to health care if they have children in our school system, they are law abiding, and the pay their taxes.

there will only be these added games to the 8 or 10 teams that make the playoffs, and they will play in December

"THE BLOCK" party.....we have to stress the power of voting blocks....when people vote as groups politions pay more attetion.......elderly,vets,women ect....the black voting block has lost alot of power because dems assume that got those votes and reps assume they dont....so neither really have to anything specificly for blacks...if we create a large new voting block that dont automaticly vote democrat then everyone has to listen....its time to take a step forward away from that democrat and republican shit......its time for blacks to reaccert ourselves in the political arena with a new agenda.

But man, it's a very hard job you want to do.
In Germany we have a very lot of parties and the most haven't enough people to get the election-access.
If you do this, you need al lot of money or a lot of work to "put in" :D and workers.
