We live in a world of supposed free speech, and i support the notion that anyone in our countries to listen to anyone they feel they can connect with, regardless if the person people are listening too is a complete idiot.

WASHINGTON -- President Obama warned Republicans on Capitol Hill today that they need to quit listening to radio king Rush Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration.

"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done," he told top GOP leaders, whom he had invited to the White House to discuss his nearly $1 trillion stimulus package.

One White House official confirmed the comment but said he was simply trying to make a larger point about bipartisan efforts.

Limbaugh has said numerous times that he hopes Obama fails which is the same as wishing harm to the U.S. That goes beyond party lines.

He's hoping the stimulus checks backfire and said that while he's trying to be like Regan he's going to do worst than Bush.

Whoever paid attention to Limbaugh anyway?? He's more about causing a stir, controversy, and popping sleeping pills than anything else.

i aint saying rush is a bright person, but still its a free world and people can express themselves freely. If Rush threatened obama's life then yes, its a big deal what he said. But at the end of the day its a free world, you can say what you want. There are so many other people out there that have said worse.... Obama is above rush and should let it go, in my opinion...

It's a free world and Obama can express himself regarding Rush Limbaugh freely. If Obama made an executive order banning Rush Limbaugh then yes, it would have been a big dea. But at the end of the day, it's a free world, and you can say what you want. There are so many other people out there that have said worse... You should let it go, in my opinion.
