Old Skoolz With Huge RIms?

Unread post by LinozMami » September 25th, 2004, 12:16 pm

What do y'all think of these 70's and early 80's model cars(-lowriders), sittin on 17's and up? I think big ass rims look good on SUV's and newer rides, but in my opinion old skool rides need some 13 or 14 inch spokes to keep it old skool all the way. An old skool with big ass rims looks like its wearing some Ronald McDonals shoes.

I gotta agree. With an old school, I think there are only 2 ways to go. If it's a SS, or got somethin heavy in it and you wanna go for speed, then you can have them big ass racing tires like a hot rod. If not, you gotta keep it on 15" or smaller.

I think you're talking about DONKS, and I prefer a lowrider over a DONK anytime

You will see at least 1 lowrider maybe 2 rolling down the boulevard every summer and they got a LOT of DONKS out here.

I just found this topic, but I've been sayin this for years OLD SCHOOLS WITH BIG AZZ 20's+ Are F___ING HELLA UGLY! If you are rolling a classic you better have some 13-7 or 14-7 D's, and I DONT MEAN DUBS, I'm Talking about Daytons or atleast some kind of wire wheels(roadsters,etc..) Some of these cars looking like Bigfoot.LOL
