Do you guys buy your Impalas, Caddillacs etc cheap and then just restore them the way you want OR do you buy them the best you can find?

Guess the same would go for Civics, Acuras etc

i have an impala and a caprice that i purchased but i didnt just go for cheap and i didnt just buy the best i could find because i knew that i was going to do some restoration.

yes,
if you have a connect where you can get parts cheap, heated seats, carpet, fenders hoods, dash boards, and what ever else you want, you should take advantage of that and put some loot in your pocket,
the only problem i have is finding good engines for hondas and acura's. for the right price that is, im not about to spend more on a damn motor than the rest of the car, 2g car 8g motor, makes no sense.
