Can anyone tell me how u play the dice game..?

I'm from Scotland and everytime a music video comes on or a film about life in gangs etc they're always rollin dice , can anyone explain how it works..?

You and your opponent both roll one dice to see who goes first..the person with the larger number on dice wins

they then roll both dice and if they hit 7 or 11 on the first roll. they automatically win..

if they roll a 3,snake eyes or double 6 on the first roll they loose..

if they roll anything else on the first roll like a 8..thats ther point..they have to keep rolling till they hit a 8..if they hit a 7 after then first roll..they loose..

if they roll a 3..snake eyes or double 6 on the first roll they loose..but may still keep the dice if they had a point in the last roll..

like if i roll a 7 on the first roll and win..

and after I roll a 3..snake eyes or double 6 and loose..I will have to give up the dice because i didnt have a point..

if i roll a 6 and win the 6

and roll again and hit a 3,snake eyes or double 6 and loose

i will keep the dice since I had a point..

do you get it??

then people can side bet..while your rollin..and you get a 6..someone can say HE WONT 6 and put money down..and someone else will put money down saying you will hit your point *6*

if you hit the point..the person who says u will hit it will take the money

we used to play dice back in the old, but you don't see it much anymore... playing dice just isn't as fun as jackin someones cd player or smoking copious amounts of marijuana...
