Afghans turn on the US Troops training them

Postby alexalonso » September 22nd, 2012, 1:22 am

When the U.S. are training Afghanistan police and soldiers to do security and they then turn the guns on the trainers, that is big red flag that says, pack up the tent and go home.

The teacher cannot trust the student.

It's messed up. We're over there trying to give them a better life, and they are turning on us. I agree, we need to get the hell out of there, or get ruthless and start killing all of them. Their hatred for us will never end. People in that region don't understand reasoning and compassion, they understand death, ruthlessness and violence. If they don't fear you, you will never get their respect. That's why the Taliban handled business like they did.

the way think there today is they way they used to think in the USA a couple hundred years ago. 200 hundred years ago there was slavery, public lynchings, duels to settle disagreement, etc, so it was pretty barbaric in the US not long ago, and perhaps this is a stage that developing nations all go through. Maybe in 100 years from know they will be civilized, but it aint happening no time soon.
